The mission of the auxiliary is to assist Casa Angelica by providing personal assistance and financial aid; and to promote awareness of the facility in the community.  The Auxiliary is an organization of volunteers who contribute hundreds of hours each year to create public funding events that raise money and awareness on behalf of Casa Angelica.

In the past, our fundraising efforts have enabled the facility to purchase new vans to transport the children and young adults, and help with an addition for the art program, as well a to provide therapeutic and educational equipment and hydraulic lifts for the therapy pool for the children and young adults. Donations come from the public and corporations, contacted by our volunteer staff, and all money received from donations directly benefits our children.

Annual Casa Angelica Auxiliary events include Breakfast with Santa, and the ever popular Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show.  We also support the artists at the Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festivals.

Breakfast with Santa is a kid friendly breakfast including Mickey Mouse Waffles, Humpty Dumpty Eggs, a visit with Santa, Santa's workshop where kids can buy gifts at kid friendly prices, balloon animals, and more!

The spring luncheon and fashion show is the largest event.  There are usually over 500 women that attend this event and Dillard's has been very generous in providing the models and fashions for the style show.

The auxiliary provides booth sitting support to the Rio Grande Arts and Crafts Festivals shows in October, November and March.  We support the artists by providing assistance in their booths when they need a short break.
