2025 Spring Garden Party Luncheon and Fashion Show!

We had over 400 in attendance at our 2025 Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show held at the Albuquerque Marriott on April 12, 2025.

Excitement was in the air as our Spring Luncheon and Fashion Show kicked off with a Silent Auction featuring over 140 items. Attendees were able to browse the auction, check out raffle items and purchase chances to win in the Heads or Tails game.

Once seated in the ballroom our attendees were treated to a spring lunch and presentation by Mariah Jimenez, Executive Adminstrator, outlining the mission of Casa Angelica to serve "those most in need", specifically the medically fragile residents. Our president, Christina Barden shared the mission of the Auxiliary with the audience which is to raise funds to promote and support the work done at Casa Angelica. This year's fund raising will go towards a wheelchair track around the meadow behind Casa Angelica's main building - finally making it wheelchair accessible!

We had a lively raffle and game of Heads or Tails emceed by Jessica Garate, TV anchor with KRQE News 13. The raffle featured a hot air balloon package donated by Rod Baca Farmer Insurance Agency, diamond earrings donated by Harris Jewelers and a one of a kind nativity donated by Andrew Rodriguez. Heads and Tails prizes included an exquisite charcuterie board filled with goodies and a basket overflowing with items for the tea lover.

Completing the festive mood (and some may say it's the main event!) was a Fashion Show featuring fashions from Silk Road Connection, Toad Road, White House Black Market, j.jill, La Casa Bella and Uptown Bride. We so appreciate the efforts of our local shops who not only supplied beautiful clothes for the show, but also donated hours of their time as well as items for the silent auction. We could not have pulled this off without the efforts of our local businesses and their lovely clientele who modeled and made the show so much fun!
